Sharon's report!!.

Saturday 19th April we welcomed Dave Bryan on this cold & wet Saturday evening.  Dave was new to many of us here at Triple C, including me, though of course we were familiar with his version of the Neil Diamond song 'Reminisce', the partner dance of the same name was written by Terry & Caroline French for our very own Sandra & Bernard Wells.  Dave sang a wide range of old and new country including: 'Jessico', 'Blue Rose Is', 'Tempted', 'Walk The Line', 'Mr Teardrop' and 'Native American'.  He has what I call an old fashioned voice, very warm and easy to listen to.  We were a few members down tonight as they were away at a festival, but it was nice to see some new faces also.  They seemed to enjoy the evening with us.  Dave entertained us with his beautiful singing and his friendly chatter..

Our monthly quiz tonight was based on cakes and biscuits and we had 7 teams who got all 20 questions right, so we had to have several tie-breakers to establish a winner..  We also celebrated the engagement of Katy, one of our line dancers, to Andy.  Katy sometimes manages to get Andy to partner dance with her as well.  Congratulations to both of you from all your friends at Triple C.
