Sharon's report!!.

Saturday 19th July,  we had Dave Sheriff as our monthly entertainment.  I had seen Dave the weekend before our dance at a festival, I thought “Great, how is he going to better this”. I should not have worried.  He was smartly dressed and what a party atmosphere he created.  The hall was filled with dancers ,line and partner, waiting to dance the night away.  Well, we had old favourites such as "Tango With The Sheriff”,  "Red Hot Salsa" and "Might Matador".  He also played some newer songs "Dance Like There’s Nobody Watching", "Boogie With My Baby",   (I Wish I Had A) Bassman Like The Jordannaires", "Old Friends" and one of my favourites "My Chair".  I did not know Dave was so talented in playing so many instruments saxophone, electric organ, electric violin and harmonica.  Well, we all went home with smiling faces, what a fantastic evening,  For those who missed Dave, I am sure everyone who saw him this evening will be talking about it for quite some time. Thanks Dave, brilliant.
